Meet The Owner: Helder Palrao of Palrao Masonry

My name is Helder Palrao, and I’m the proud owner of Palrao Masonry LLC. I moved from the Azores, Portugal as a child, where I developed a passion for drawing, designing, and building. It has always been rewarding to see my ideas come to life, which naturally led me into the field of masonry services. My father worked as a construction worker and mason, which initially sparked my interest in masonry. Growing up, I observed him at work, learning the trade's tips and techniques, and once I was old enough, I eagerly joined the construction and masonry business myself.  

With a clear vision to establish my own masonry business, I focused on understanding every aspect of business ownership. I earned my bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship from URI. Currently, I am also enlisted in the Army National Guard, where I have developed valuable leadership skills. With my robust background in business and the hands-on skills I've gained from years in construction and masonry, I am confident that I have laid a solid foundation (pun intended) for my business. This year marks the official launch of Palrao Masonry LLC, allowing me to pursue my passion and assist customers in transforming their properties.
